1. Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D (2010) You know weโ€™re off to a bad start when a movie with a 3D gimmick is the least bad movie in the franchise. In case youโ€™re not aware, while these movies may be called Resident Evil, they have absolutely nothing to do with the game series besides featuring a few characters from the series (in name only of course) and having a ton of zombies.
In Resident Evil 6, fans were introduced to the son of Albert Wesker. The addition to the franchise was a bit of a surprise, but it caught the attention of the fans. However, many of them would end up disappointed with the results. Jake Muller was not what fans expected when they played the game.
It feels more like a parody of Resident Evil than Resident Evil except they're playing ut straight. I dont like harping on graphics too much but due to how many locations and maps there are, far too much is either recycled or outright boring. The quality of textures from 5 took a nose dive.

RE6 has an aggregate score of 67 at Metacritic, by far the lowest rated main Resident Evil game. It sold a lot thanks to its huge marketing campaign and the success of both RE4 and 5. It was such a huge dent to the franchise that they had to reboot with RE7.
Is Resident Evil 6 that bad? Well no. It's actually worse. For what it's worth, the combat is good and it has the best iteration of the horde-based version of mercenaries, but the four campaigns are full of QTEs, set pieces and driving segments with awful controls.
