I have had my heart set on the BMW GSA 1200/1250 for the last several years but have been keeping my eye on the KTM 790 R now KTM 890 R.

The F850GSA did around 450km tankā¦ but usually was on fumes by the time ā¦ so Iād say around 400km/tank with mixed riding if youāre not going to be gentle on the throttleā¦. the T700ās 16l Tank gets me 350km ā¦ which in all fairness so far hasnāt left me stranded anywhere and I havenāt carried spare fuel so far. Againā¦.

I'm shorter-legged and longer torso'd for my height with a 29" inseam. With all the vendors and designs, I'm wondering if there is standard guidance for how to find the right screen.

First, Price! A BMW 1250 GS (not the GS Adventure mind you) with similar trim level as the KTM, would be 125,000 Mexican pesos (thatās over 6,000 USD) more!!! Sure, the BMWās fit and finish is better than KTMās, but definitely not 6,000 USD better! Secondly, I didnāt like the way I was treated by the local BMW dealer here in Queretaro.

Looks are subjective and while I do like the AT, the GS looks better IMO. BMW Pros: 1. Its a BMW, electronics should be at par with the Honda. 2. Balanced, liner power delivery, power on tap in every gear. (Presuming to be at par with Honda) 3. Comfortable seating, good ergonomics for long distance biking.
