This issue is more common on Peugeot 206 CC models (convertibles) produced between 2001 and 2006. With 2+2 seating (although you wouldn't want to try to lever adults into the back seats), the 207CC is 4.04 metres long, adding 21cm to the length of the 206CC. I have a 206 cc of production year 2002 and the following solution worked for me. My problem was that the roof would not close anymore electronically and there were continuous (and annoying) beeps when driving. Following solved my problem: 1. Followed instructions to close the roof manually. This you can normally find on your cars manual.

When activating the 'roof down' switch, our 207CC winds the windows down, half opens the boot lid, then, with a 'bong', stops and displays 'Faulty roof mechanism'. It's probably optimistic of me to ask, but is there anything I can try DIY-wise before I take it to the Peugeot dealer? TIA.
